1) Job application on mobile.

Jobseekers can now submit their job applications via mobile. But this feature only uses the online resume when sending applications, which means that only jobseekers who have created online profiles can conveniently send their resumes to employers.

Another thing to note – if admin turned off the Resume section, the button “Apply for this Job” is changed to “Save this Job” which enables users to get an email reminder of the job.

2) Skip step to select payment plan if the company has a paid package.

If an employer has an existing paid package plan and clicks Post a Job, the page won’t display the “Select payment plan” step anymore but will automatically redirects him to Step 2 to fill out job and company details. But of course, the job poster can always click on Step 1 to select another plan.

3) Add “limit” for free plans.

Job posting is no longer unlimited for free plans. How generous would you want to be to your customers? Enter that magic figure on the Limit Free Plan Use box in the Settings>Payments> Payment Plans.

If an employer has exceeded the usage limit, he will be notified: You have reached the maximum number of Free posts. Please select another plan.

4) Skip “Select a Plan” step when the only plan created is a Free plan

If admin decides not to create payment plans other than a Free plan, the step to select a plan is skipped when an employer post a job.

Great news !! Love the ‘apply’-solution for mobile. Next step could be the payed job seeking ad we spoke about 😉

Thanks, Hans. We’re very interested in the job seeking ad idea. However, it would still need to wait for other features with higher priority first. 🙂 Anyways, we will discuss more about this idea as soon as we can.

As soon as I updated to 2.4.5, things went wrong (1) my landing page no longer works. I go into settings/reading, and the static page wont save at all (2) Clicking on Apply for this job in the mobile version, it only comes up with the message “Error Loading Page”……………..

        Hi Anh & Obailleux.

I solved the problem, by following the advice here: https://www.enginethemes.com/forums/thread/static-front-page/ and replacing the mobile folder, with the previous versions mobile folder (from my backup). This is a temporary solution until an update solves the problem. Replacing with the old mobile folder is also very good for me, as I “dont want” the Apply for job button in the mobile version.

    Bravo Team….

Mobile apply is a great feature. Now I can enable mobile theme that I had disabled from the day one.

Thank you for your great work.

Thank you, guys. There are actually even bigger improvements for the mobile version in the coming updates. But this needs more work than our usual routine and we need to delay the update for JobEngine next week. Rest assured that the wait will be paid off. 😉

    Hi Anh Chau,

I just happened to check that you’ve already released JobEngine Version 2.5. Then how come my JobEngine theme has not been updated from Version 2.4.3 to later versions like Version 2.5? I never got an ‘update your theme’ notification.
(I’ve posted the same question on JobEngine Forum, so you may answer only once and may delete the other query)

    Thanks.
