tos update announcement

Please note that EngineThemes Terms of Service are updated with some remarkable changes:

  • Product License
  • Product Updates
  • Product Compatibility
  • Support Policy

Here’re some more details:

The license can be used for whatever site you want with 12 months of free updates and support.

After purchasing our product, you will be provided a customer account and a license key for updating the products and request for our support when needed within 12 months. After these 12 months, you can still use our theme for your site without any problems or feature limitation, but you cannot access to your member area to download the latest version because your license is expired. At that time, all files whose license are expired will be removed from your member area, and you are no longer received the update notification and support as a result.

If you want to keep receiving updates and our support, you must renew your license with  50% off of the original price. We will send you an email to remind you of license renewal one week in advance before your license is expired.

Compatibility information is included in each EngineThemes product page

Compatibility information is included in each EngineThemes product page. Besides, we recommend you to contact our Customer Service Dept via email support@enginethemes.com, our CS will answer you all questions involved in product compatibility.

All product documentation and guidelines are provided in our Help Desk & the official support system

We provide all product documentation and guidelines in our Help Desk (http://docs.enginethemes.com/) and it should be the first place the Customers need to go to when having any difficulties using EngineThemes’ products.

The main channel where we provide support is the official support system (https://www.enginethemes.com/help/). When a customer first purchases our products, an account is created automatically in our system. Customers can send us a ticket to request for support right in the page and our staffs usually respond within 48 hours.

Read our Terms of Service here.

The updated Terms of Service takes effect on June 28, 2017.

Please drop your comment if you have any questions regarding the update of our Terms of Service.

“Support reply usually within 48h” really? Not what i have (me and other people that complain on your facebook page) I am still waiting for answers about questions I sent last month. Someone just answer “Dan is not available, send me your problems and I will try to help” okeyy you dont know how to check all my last mails on your support adress.

Well now I sent you a big mail with somes of my problems with FrE V1.8.1 on your support mail now : lets see if I will have answer in 48h : answers like “we are sending this to our dev team for next update” doesnt count !

      Hi Toukik,

There are some problems in my support system, so we may not receive some your tickets. In this case, please send us the number of your ticket or email address you used to submit the ticket in our system so that we can check your case and resolve it soon.

      Look forward to your reply.

Thanks for the updates. I’m trying to test drive the demo site but as a freelancer I can’t bid due to credits being needed. So this makes half the demo unusable to test drive.

Any ideas how I can get passed this?

      Hi Julie,

Regarding your question, please make sure that you (freelancer role) used credits to purchase the bid package in my project page (http://i.imgur.com/shriAcY.png).

      Hope it helps.
