This week comes with the new update version of FreelanceEngine 1.6.5 and Escrow Stripe 1.1. This FreelanceEngine version is compatible with Visual Composer version 4.7.4 and has some improvements while Escrow Stripe has one new update about payment transfer.

However, there were serious XSS security vulnerabilities in the Visual Composer WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.7.4 (releases prior to October 2, 2015) which affected all users. Acknowledging the urgent need of updating Visual Composer to version 4.7.4 to avoid security issues, we update FreelanceEngine to version 1.6.5 to be compatible with Visual Composer 4.7.4. Make sure to update FreelanceEngine to the latest version then install Visual Composer 4.7.4 to avoid evitable errors.
Bidding canceling email notification: FreelanceEngine version 1.6.5 adds a new mail template to the notification system. Project owner now receives email notification when a bidder cancels the bid. Hence, employer would be informed timely of project’s status.
Freelancer now can save profile when leaving skill input blank: In the previous version, freelancer cannot leave the skill section empty. So in this version, it is possible for freelancer to save his profile with no skill input.
On mobile version, bid average number is shown more accurately: In the previous version, there was issue with the display of this figure. We have corrected it now so there is no more worry about it.

Escrow Stripe extension enhances smooth transactions among admin, freelancers and employers with Escrow system via Stripe gateway. It ensures better transaction security and is an effective monetization tool.

In the previous version, when the project is finished, payment is not transferred to freelancer although Stripe is active and Escrow system is enabled. But now there is no more worry since payment is released to freelancer when project is done.
