How can I change the URL slug?

You can change the slugs in the Advanced settings section. Visit your Admin panel > choose Engine settings > Advanced settings > and you can change them.

Can users add different products to cart?

You can use the CE Shop extension to upgrade your normal classified site to a marketplace. After that, users can add different ads to a cart. learn more about CE Shop here.

How can I allow users to post ads for free?

You can enable the option Disable payment gateways, the package plans then will be disabled and users can post projects for free.

Visit your Admin panel > choose Engine settings > Settings > Payment and you can find it.

Do I have to create the location and category?

You have to create categories and locations for users to post ads. You can check out the detailed information here:

How can I prevent spams?

You can enable the below options to prevent spams in your site:

  • Google captcha: Visit Engine settings > Settings > General.
  • Pending ads: Visit Engine settings > Settings > Ads.

How can I manage the currency?

You can change the currency in your admin panel, choose Engine settings > Settings > Payment and you can change the setting.

Beside, if you use CE Shop extension, you can choose the currency in WooCommerce setting section.

How can I change some colors in the theme?

You can use the WP Customize to change the background color.

Visit your Admin panel > choose Appearance > Customize > and you can see a setting board to change the color.

The map works based on geolocation. You just have to create locations in the posting forms.

How do you get our invoice?

Do themes have licenses?

All products made by EngineThemes are licensed under the GNU General Public License. However, customers must first purchase our products to use them in their projects. Being a customer of EngineThemes, you are provided a customer account and a license key for updating the products and request for our support when needed. We only provide support and updates for the customers who purchase our products.

Can I get a discount?

We usually give discount on special occasions and it’ll be announced on our blog. Therefore, you may want check our blog out frequently to get the chances.

What’s your refund policy?

We consider a refund within 14 days of purchase on a case-by-case basis and don’t offer unconditional refunds. Due to the increases of frauds in the industry (purchase a product and then request a refund to get the product for free), we only grant the refunds for some specific cases. You can check out our TOS for more details. 

Does the theme’s cost include updates?

Each product you purchase from EngineThemes includes updates and our official support for 12 months from the date of purchase (6 months for the special deals). After the expiry date, you can choose to continue the subscription with 50% off of the original price to keep receiving updates & support for another year.

How will I get access to purchased themes after finishing the payment?

After do your payment, you can use your username and password to login to your member area. You can access all the themes you purchased and updates in this section.

Can employees upload their resume?

The theme support a default section for applicants to complete their profiles. Only first-time visitors that haven’t logged in can upload their own resume.

Do you provide customization service ?

Unfortunately, we don’t provide customization services at the moment.

The blog section is supported in all EngineThemes’ products.

How can I get license key for Revolution Slider?

The plugin is integrated right in the theme, you don’t have to get a license key. Whenever there’s new update, you can visit your member area in EngineThemes and get it.

Can users login via their Social network accounts?

Currently, this feature has been supported in these themes: QAEngine, ForumEngine, DirectoryEngine, JobEngine and ClassifiedEngine.

Is your theme compatible with WPML?

Can I translate my site to a different language?

You can easily translate your site to your preferred language right in the admin panel. Choose Engine settings > Settings > Language and you can start the translation.

Can I display advertisements in the site?

You can display the advertisements using the Widgets and supported Sidebars. Just insert the ad code to the Text widget and drag it to a suitable sidebar.

Also, for the themes that have already supported Revolution slider, you can use this to display the ad not from Google Adsense. These themes are:

Are your themes compatible with third-party plugins?

Our themes are created based on WordPress standard. Therefore, they are compatible with many third-party plugins. However, you should check the plugins carefully before install them. If the plugins aren’t created based on WordPress standard, maybe, they will be conflicted.

How often are the themes updated?

With new products: we usually update them every 1 or 2 weeks.

With older products: we usually update them every months.

However, we’re really appreciated customer’s opinions. If we find great ideas from our forums, we will consider update it to our theme.

Can I upload files when asking a question?

You can directly insert a photo when asking question but you can’t upload other files such as: word, pdf…

Can I decide the privilege of the users?

You can decide the points a user must have to get the privilege, but you can’t change the  privilege. Visit your Admin panel > choose Engine settings > user badges > Privileges and you can see it.

How can user observe the activities on the site?

Taking advantage of the WordPress Heartbeat API, your site has a live notification system. Every time a new post is published, visitors can receive a real-time message. If they feel interested in it, they can click on the notify message to go to the new post.

Can I share a post via social networks?

You can find a share button in every question or answer. It helps you to quickly share the posts via your social network accounts.

Follow the below steps to set up the intro page for your site:

  • Choose Settings > Reading > Front page displays.
