JobEngine v2.3.6
This version bears the Log in-to-View Resumes feature for Resume section. The feature’s name speaks for itself. No payment involved, just log in.
This is ideal for job board owners who want to keep resume viewing on their site free but would like to require viewers to sign in before they can access the jobseekers’ profiles. Keeping it disabled will allow anyone who visits the site to browse and view profiles anytime.
This version also fixed two bugs –
– Edit-this-job page does not display when edit icon is clicked from homepage and single job page.
– Newly added languages are un-clickable.
Is this a “bonus” feature? or does it completely replace the pay to view resumes? because I actually want to keep the “pay to view resumes”, since companies are paying me.
I am “completely” horrified that you want to offer simple “log in to view” ? do you not understand how tight the privacy laws are?????
If someones private resume information gets stolen in the west, the website will be the first in-line to get sued. Heck, I’d sue a website myself if my private resume information got stolen, or suddenly made public
Completely crazy idea. I have never “ever” seen a website which offers you “free to view someones full private resume”, never …… ever……. If anyone with the job theme “is” offering that, then I recommend you book a nice padded room.
Hi, Rob! We did not replace the Pay-to-view resumes with this new function. It’s just an additional option for job board owners. We understand the privacy matters on resume information so using either “pay to view” or “log in to view” is the site owner’s discretion.
Hey, you’ve made a mistake in the footer guys. You’ve put the copyright beneath the footer menu which means the copyright and footer menu dont line up. The last version was the correct footer.
Thank You Team, it’s very nice feature. I just enabled it. One thing that will be nice to have; Should it give some message or redirect to login screen when a non-logged in user tries to access a resume? Currently it works and does not load resume contents for a user who is not logged in which is good. It will be great if we can redirect them to login screen or register screen or simply give pop up message. (Register Users Only)
Hi I updated the theme, but now I can see this in my theme : . Job Board Software | powered by WordPress . How do I remove this link.
Hi Sid, you can remove it from footer.php on line 166. I don’t why JE decided to put these credits there. A paid theme should not have these credits.
Thanks Hammad
