In DirectoryEngine version 2.1.4, blog posts are filtered properly by category, sort by rating functions seamlessly, and other bugs are also fixed.
Blog posts accurately filtered by category
One of the problems you might get in last versions was the category filter did not work. All blog posts were shown, no matter which the category was selected in DE Blog block. With this latest update, only blog posts from the category that you set in Dashboard are displayed.
Go to Page > Home – Front Page > BACKEND EDITOR. In DE BLOG block, choose “pencil” icon to set this feature.

Places sorted by rating under no pagination
Before, when you selected the pagination in DE Place Settings as “None”, the Sort by Rating did not work properly. This bug has been solved in this version.

Other bug fixes in DirectoryEngine version 2.1.4
- Header does not disappear in Safari as before.
- Bug of the template in the child theme is fixed.
- From now on, items in place detail page are not duplicated when being displayed on the map.
- The indicating number of total places in a specific area is displayed accurately on the map from this version of DirectoryEngine. Besides, Marker Clustering is shown as well.

Concerning the release date of DE version 2.1.5, it will soon be released in the period of two weeks from now. As for the new feature/bug fixes in this version, there are SEO improvement, support search by tag, adding alt tags to each image in single place.
