ForumEngine v1.4.8
It’s been quite a while since you guys heard any news from ForumEngine, maybe some of you have considered whether we forgot it or not. The answer is NO, we’re still working on it besides introducing new product – QAEngine. And here you are, FE is back with some new updates:
1. Widget hashtag added
As many of you have known, hashtag is considered as a tool which helps you to rally information in a specific subject. With every topic you created, you can add different hashtag based on your preference.
In order to help users using your site easier, FE v1.4.8 offers you a hashtag widget. With the new widget we created, users can easily click one hashtag and see all the topics related. Therefore, they will have another solution to find and discuss the information they care.
Moreover, the new hashtag system has been fixed with the language settings. It’s doesn’t matter if your language based on alphabet system or not, you now can freely add your very own hashtags.
2. Ajax response in single thread
With support from Ajax, every time users reply on a topic, the page won’t load all over again. That means your site’s performance is upgraded to a new level.
3. Search function improved
No more struggling finding a topic. The new updated search system will help your users find the needed topics more quickly and more accurate.
4. Other updates
– Fix reloading bug when logging in using IE browser: For those who using IE browser, your site now won’t reload every time you log in to the site anymore.
– Update modal upload image: Change to use backbone
QAEngine v1.0.2
QAEngine is also updated to new version 1.0.2 with some small hot fixes.
