In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use WP Mail SMTP by WPForms with ForumEngine to ensure that your email notifications are delivered correctly.
Step 1: Install and activate WP Mail SMTP by WPForms
The first step is to install and activate WP Mail SMTP by WPForms on your WordPress site. You can do this by going to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard, searching for “WP Mail SMTP”, and clicking the “Install Now” button.
Once the plugin is installed, click the “Activate” button to activate it.
Step 2: Configure WP Mail SMTP by WPForms settings

In the “SMTP Configuration” section, enter your SMTP server settings that you configured in WP Mail SMTP by WPForms. Make sure to select the same encryption type that you used in WP Mail SMTP by WPForms.
Click the “Save Changes” button to save your settings.
Step 5: Test your ForumEngine email settings
To test your ForumEngine email settings, go to ForumEngine > Settings > Email > Test Email in your WordPress dashboard. Enter an email address to send a test email to and click the “Send Test Email” button.
